If done right, there should be little to no scratching on the iPod casing. Over time, we have found this method to be much more effective than that demonstrated in our video, where the fragile plastic pry tools are used. (1) Mini phillips screwdriver There are two small phillips screws at the top of the iPod Mini that will need to be removed in order to slide out the internals and complete any repair. (1) Mini suction cup The suction cup is not used in the repair of this model but can come in handy for future repairs. (1) Mini flathead screwdriver The small flathead can be used to carefully work up the clickwheel cable and unplug it from it's port on the logic board. It can also be used to carefully lift up latch connectors, however, we recommend the non-conductive plastic pry tools.
